Remedy’s Back for 2012!

So, here’s the story… when you last saw us, it was at the end of 2010, playing our farewell gig at the Burren in Somerville. We’d been together for five years, and had decided to take a little break.

Problem is… we couldn’t stay away for long. So, in early 2011, we started talking about getting back together. Unfortunately, not everyone was up for it, so we had to take some time to find some new blood. After a bunch of auditions, Carlos joined us on bass and we started rehearsing.

We’ve been spending most of 2011 building up our song list and having fun rehearsing, with an occasional gig here and there: a benefit in the summer and opening for The Instigators right after Thanksgiving. But now, we’re ready to get out and play for our fans again!

It’s 2012, and that means that it’s well past time for a new Remedy web site. So, welcome to it. We’ve made this a lot easier for us to update, so that you can hear from us more often, and included some cool new features like our new image galleries, an audio player so you can get your fix whenever you need it, and an RSS feed so you can subscribe to updates. Here’s to a great 2012… we hope to see you soon at a nearby club or party.
